Art lovers rejoiced as the wonderful, the beautiful, the sophisticated, the excited, the happy, and the very thirsty!! – all congregated at the Ministry of Art for the official opening. The Hon. Hugh Delahunty added some gravitas to the occasion, formally opening the Ministry whilst also lauding the opening of a new arts hub in the St.Kilda area.
“The Ministers have done an amazing job opening the Ministry of Art in support of artists and the arts culture in Melbourne”, Hugh said, “and we should all get behind this exciting new venture”.
The Ministry of Art is open Fridays 5pm to 8pm, and Saturday & Sundays 12pm to 4pm @ 238 St.Kilda Rd, St.Kilda (just up from Inkerman Street).

The Ministry of Art is a great venue for corporate team building nights. Last week the BT Select crew had a wine tasting plus team building night where they created artworks outlining their team values. Lots of fun mixing colours and creating art that spoke to them about their company and what it stands for. Valuable for employee engagement, team building and bonding. A great night out! Contact us if your team would like to know more about our Artful Thinking team building program.
A very talented artist, Delsinki Records will be launching his EP at the Ministry of Art on 25th June. It will feature live music from the EP and art works from artists involved in the making of some of the EP videos.
We are excited to welcome Delsinki Records into the Ministry family.
